Every year, the FSYO performs throughout Central Florida from October through May. Several concerts are provided free of charge to the general public and special population groups, particularly senior citizens and school-aged children. The FSYO performs other concerts as fundraisers and for charity purposes. In past years these special concerts have included the Symphonic Orchestra's performance at the Enzo's Benefit Concert for the Arnold Palmer Hospital HUG-ME Program; the Symphonic and Philharmonia Orchestra's performance at the Kiwanis Benefit Concert for the Orlando Day Nursery; and the Philharmonia Orchestra's annual performance for three concerts at Leesburg High School in Lake County for 2,400 fifth grade students.
