A Timeline of FSYO's 2023 Italy Tour

June 27 - Group photo before departure from MCO.

June 28 - During the layover in Frankfurt, one third of the group missed the connection flight to Milan. After 36 hours of travel, the late arrival group finally retireved their lost luggage.

June 29 - The group began the day with a walking tour of Milan. During their time in the city, they visited the Teatro Alla Scala Museum, Milan Duomo, and explored the city.

June 29 - The first concert of tour took place at Castello Pieve di Porto Morone located in Pavia.

June 30 - On the way to Venice, the group stopped in Cremona, Italy to visit the birth place of the violin.

July 1 - The students started their day on a water taxi to Venice where they took a walking tour of the city and enjoyed eating gelato on a gondola.

July 1 - The second concert of tour took place at Teatro Parco Magnolia Abano, and city officials that attended the performance presented FSYO with a gift at the end of the concert.

July 2 - After visting Florence, the group arrived in Perugia and spent the next four days exploring the city.

July 3 - The Tour Orchestra performed in Chiostro San Lorenzo.

July 4 - The Tour Jazz Band surprised the audience during their concert at the Sala dei Notari with a special performance of Battle Hyme of the Republic in honor of Independence Day.

 July 5 - During the bus ride from Perugia to Rome, the group stopped in Orvieto for a tour of the city, and they finished the day with a pasta making class.

July 6 - The tour ensembles performed their final concert at Castel Gandolfo.

July 7 - On their last day in Italy, the group visited the Roman Forum, the Colloseum, and Vatican City.
