Essentially Ellington Regional High School Jazz Band Festival

FSYO's Alphonse Carlo Jazz Band (Carlo Band) is excited to be returning to participate and perform in the Essentially Ellington Regional High School Jazz Band Festival hosted by Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in partnership with Jazz at Lincoln Center! This year FSYO's Joseph Wise Jazz Band will also be participating in the clinics at the festival. 

Our members will perform for and work with well-known jazz clinicians while receiving professional feedback. The entire festival features works from the Essentially Ellington Library.

At the end of the festival, the Alphonse Carlo Jazz Band will also have the opportunity to perform in the beautiful Steinmetz Hall at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.

Date: Monday, February 16, 2026

Time: 9:10 AM (FSYO's Carlo Band performs at 9:10 AM, but the festival begins at 8 AM)

Location: Steinmetz Hall at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts (445 S Magnolia Ave, Orlando, FL 32801)

Tickets: 

There are two ticket options available
Please note: the festival is only open to the public on Day 2, and admission is strictly for performances/concerts only. No additional access will be granted.

  • ADULT – Day Pass ($30)
    This ticket provides access to all daytime performances AND the final concert that evening.
  • ADULT – Concert Ticket ($25)
    This ticket provides access to only the final concert at 7:30pm. This ticket does not include access to daytime performances.
  • Student Discounted Tickets
    Student discounted passes and tickets are available. A valid student ID must be presented with the ticket upon entry. These can be purchased day of at the box office or over the phone.
    ***Guests under the age of 11 are free with the purchase of an adult or student ticket.
