Orlando Utilities Commission Presents: FSYO's Annual Play-a-thon Fundraiser

Play a thon

Presented by Orlando Utilties Commission, Play-a-thon is more than just a fundraiser! It is a team-based celebration of music, outreach, and youth leadership that brings together FSYO’s entire organization, from student musicians and conductors to board members and administrative staff.

Unlike traditional fundraisers, Play-a-thon is team-based, each ensemble and department fundraises collaboratively, building camaraderie while fostering a spirit of friendly competition. The event also features local food trucks, a dunk tank fundrasier, and a silent auction with exciting community-donated prizes, making it a festive and interactive experience for families and supporters of all ages.

The event culminates in an outdoor concert on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at Lake Eola’s Walt Disney Amphitheater, where all eight FSYO ensembles will perform for the public.

Date: March 8, 2026

Time: 11:00am - 3:00pm

Location: Walt Disney Amphitheater at Lake Eola Park - 195 N Rosalind Ave, Orlando, FL 32801

Bird Flu Disclaimer

FSYO is aware of the Bird Flu outbreak that has impacted swans and other birds at Lake Eola park. Bird flu is caused by infection with avian influenza A viruses that usually spread between birds, not people. People rarely get bird flu, but when they do, it is most often after close, unprotected exposure (without wearing respiratory or eye protection) to birds or other animals infected with avian influenza A viruses. The risk to the general public from bird flu is currently low. We recommend all people and their pets avoid all contact with any birds while visiting Lake Eola. For more information, please visit the CDC Website.
