The Symphonic Orchestra, conducted by Music Director Mr. Charles Watford, is a pre-professional, conservatory level orchestra in which students are challenged with exceptionally difficult literature and perform at a number of extra concerts and engagements throughout the year. This ensemble is for students ages 14 to 20.
No qualifying student will be turned away from FSYO because of an inability to pay Tuition. FSYO fundraises to provide Tuition Financial Aid for musicians whose families demonstrate need. Financial Aid is not available for the Audition Fee, Concert Tickets, or uniform cost.
