Ways to Give

Florida Symphony Youth Orchestras delivers the highest quality of music education to more than 300 students and provides over $30,000 in scholarships each year, but we could not do it without the generous support of many individuals, foundations, and companies. Tuition and ticket sales sustain 50% of our budget each year. Philanthropy makes up the rest.

There are many ways that you can support FSYO as an individual donor. Please review the Ways to Give information below to learn more.

WAYS TO GIVE

Tour Scholarship Campaign: FSYO is returning to New York City in Summer 2026! To kick off 70 years of quality music education, our Tour Orchestra and Tour Jazz Band will be taking a five day, four night tour to the Big Apple, and this tour will also feature the Tour Jazz Band’s debut in the city that is referred to as one of the cornerstones of jazz.

For the Tour Jazz Band’s inaugural NYC appearance, these young musicians will learn from Jazz at Lincoln Center (JALC) seasoned clinicians, participate in an evening jam session, and perform in a JALC venue such as the Appel Room, Rose Hall, or Dizzy’s Club. Meanwhile, the Tour Orchestra will perform in the renowned Isaac Stern Auditorium of Carnegie Hall for the third time!

FSYO needs your help to provide every aspiring musician an experience of a lifetime, regardless of their financial capacity. You can recognize the extraordinary efforts of these students with a donation today!

Donation methods include: Credit, Debit, EFT payments, Apple Pay, Venmo, and PayPal

Become a Monthly Donor: By making a recurring monthly donation to FSYO, you can help sustain our operations, making a larger impact over time. You can set up a recurring monthly gift by clicking the donate button above.

Recommend a Grant from your Donor Advised Fund: A Donor Advised Fund (or DAF) is a flexible vehicle for charitable giving and a cost-effective alternative to establishing a private donation. Donors make an initial, irrevocable gift of cash or stock to a DAF at a sponsoring organization and are then able to make annual recommendations for grants to charitable organizations. Contact your DAF provider to make a grant recommendation for FSYO.

Make a Charitable Distribution from your IRA: Qualifying individuals 70 ½ years or older can donate all, or a portion of, their required minimum distribution directly to charity. Contact your financial advisor or IRA administrator for more information on how to direct your qualified charitable contribution to FSYO.
